5 mins Warm Up
3 x 8 mins as -
1 min just below threshold at 60rpms, 1 min just above threshold at 110rpms
Keep repeating this sequence until at 8 mins.
4 mins easy in between each one.
Threshold (9 out of 10 in perceived effort or around 90% of your max HR)
5 mins Warm Down
These are called “over unders with a cadence component”. The focus here is to work just below and just above your threshold to move that threshold value up across time. By doing it with low and high cadences, you’re also including a strength and neuromuscular element too!
