ROKA Sports, Inc. is proud to announce a multi-year sponsorship with Ironman and 70.3 Champion Gina Crawford.
“I am really excited to be working with ROKA,” Crawford said. “I have had some great non-wetsuit swims in recent times but have not entirely been happy with my wetsuit swimming. Swimming with a ROKA wetsuit feels like I don’t have a wetsuit on. Total flexibility in the arms and back, no aching in the arms, and no restriction with my breathing. I love it. It is really important for me to form sponsorship relationships with companies that are enthusiastic and passionate about their products and ROKA is just that. I am delighted to be on the ROKA Team.”
In addition to her many wins, Gina has also finished in the Top 10 at the Ironman World Championships several times. ROKA CEO and Co-Founder Rob Canales said, “We’re thrilled to support Gina as she moves into the next phase of her already impressive career. We knew immediately after we met Gina that she would be a great teammate and ambassador for ROKA.”
Crawford’s coach, Matt Dixon of purplepatch fitness, said, “Gina has great passion for the sport and, I feel, has great capacity to improve her own performance. I am very excited for Gina to be joining ROKA as I believe, all athletes need to employ a team approach, and this includes their sponsors. ROKA’s great product and support team, coupled with our established relationship, make it a seamless team effort. We expect to see some great performance improvements in the coming years.”
ROKA’s VP of Sales & Marketing, Ryan Dolan remarked, “We are excited to be partnering with such a proven performer who continues to be a threat at both the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 distance races. This weekend, we look forward to seeing Gina open her season by defending her title at Challenge Wanaka.”
Crawford will wear ROKA’s Maverick Pro Wetsuit, Viper Pro Speed Suit, SIM Pro Shorts and other racing and training products in development.
