This coming weekend Mike Reilly will be doing one of his favorite things in life, announcing at the finish line of an Ironman triathlon. When we spoke with the Voice of the Ironman this week he was busy preparing for his trip to Ironman Chattanooga, but also had an eye on his home work for the Ironman World Championships in Kona next month, a race he’s been announcing every year for nearly 30 years.

Hence, if you’ve completed an Ironman triathlon, there’s a good chance you’ve been called across the finish line by Mike Reilly, the Voice of the Ironman. Mike has announced more than 300 triathlons in a career spanning several decades. He first announced the Hawaii Ironman in 1989 and hasn’t missed a year since.
