Champion System, a worldwide leader in custom technical apparel, announces its 2014 sponsorship and partnerships. In the sport of triathlon Champion System pulls together a strong, diverse 2014 team covering all distances, both professional and amateur, as well as collegiate and youth teams.
New to Champion System for 2014 is multiple-Ironman Champion Chris McDonald. McDonald, who in 2013 won 2 Ironman titles, has a strong history of triathlon racing as well as his own coaching company’s team “Big Sexy Racing“. This frequent podium finisher looks to focus on the World Championships in 2014.
“I’m excited to be partnering with Champion System this year. They’ve got me covered from triathlon to cycling and running. The quality of their clothing is awesome,” McDonald said. “I am happy that Team BSR is also being supported by Champion System and will be able to offer our team kits through Champion System.”

Olympian and 2x National Champion Matty Reed, along with McDonald will headline Champion System men’s triathlon focus. These two athletes will race a plethora of distances and disciplines from draft-legal to ironman and XTERRA as well as various cycling and running events. Reed recently launched the 2014 Apex Triathlon Speedsuit, an aerodynamic tested suit built for long distance racing. McDonald will race in this suit for 2014. Professional Patrick Evoe will also race again in Champion System as he looks to return to the top of an Ironman podium.
Re-signing with Champion System is triathlete and adventure racer Sara McLarty, XTERRA and 70.3 racer Melanie McQuaid. Emma Garrard, the reigning USA XTERRA Champion has re-signed as well.

I really liked working with the company and creating something that was unique and represented my personality. I am thrilled to partner with Champion System again in 2014,” Garrard said.
The strong and personable contingent of women headlining this season highlights Champion System’s brand diversity. With the recent sponsorship of the LUNA Pro Team, Champion System has expanded its presence and support of women’s endurance sports.
“Emma’s 5th place at XTERRA Worlds only months after having her first child showcased her dedication and strength. Combined with the power of Melanie and Sara and our sponsorship of the LUNA Pro Team, our company showcases our dedication to women endurance sports. These athletes will be key to our expanding women’s specific line,” Kaylin said.
Champion System will also sponsor professional triathlon teams USPro Tri and Philly Pro Tri.
Champion System signed several collegiate triathlon programs for 2014 including California PolyTechnic State University, UCLA, Arizona State University, West Point Military Academy and Southern Utah University.
Fostering the next generation of triathletes, Champion System has aligned with youngsters Bobby Hammond, Ariana Luterman and the TAF Racing. USA Triathlon U-23 National Champion William Huffman will be racing for Champion System as he moves to the professional ITU circuit.
Team IE, Maverick Multisport Elite, Nytro Women’s Triathlon Team, and Nytro-Breakaway Training Men’s Triathlon Team will be representing Champion System.
Champion System is sponsoring Endurance Films Triathlon Team and is also the official clothing supplier for their web show “Endurance Zone”.
