Japan’s leading triathlon bike brand, CEEPO, is proud to announce their involvement as the official bike partner of the 2014 Team Zoot Triathlon squad. Team Zoot is comprised of elite age group athletes, as well as professionals from around the world. Team Zoot’s captains will ride their choice of either the long-distance, ultra aerodynamic CEEPO Viper, or the lightweight, but amply stiff and aerodynamic CEEPO Katana. Some team members will also be riding CEEPO’s all new Mamba and Stinger frames in training, shorter distance races, or those with excessive climbing.
Named for an ancient Samurai warrior, CEEPO was founded in 2003 in Aichi, Japan with the mission of creating the ultimate Triathlon-specific bike. Unsatisfied with current bike offerings at the time, CEEPO founder Joe Tanaka set out to meet and exceed the demands of competitive triathletes through innovative designs, tailored specifically to sport of Triathlon. CEEPO’s groundbreaking frame designs achieve excellent frame aerodynamics and comfortable, stable geometries, while also maintaining a powerful and aerodynamic body position.
With a long and storied commitment to the sport, CEEPO is an ideal bike partner for the ambitious and already successful Team Zoot. Zoot Sports had this to comment about the new partnership, “Zoot is very happy to launch the CEEPO bicycle partnership with our new Team program. Together, our passion for the sport will double, and thus become the ultimate endurance team in the US.”
CEEPO’s 2014 triathlon lineup is now available and shipping in the USA through Stage-Race Distribution and can be found at premium triathlon and road retailers such as R&A Cycles. CEEPO will display the entire 2014 model range at these 6 major events this season:
